13mm Lever Belt

By submitting your payment, you agree to our terms and conditions.

SKU: BE001-001 Categories: ,

• Featuring a patent-pending buckle, with a gliding lever action and the adjustability of a prong belt.
• Designed with powerlifters and strongmen in mind.
• English hide prepared for over five months for strength and longevity.
• Black oiled leather finish with a red suede interior.
• USAPL and IPF approved and USPA compliant with the maximum 13mm thickness and 10cm in width.
• Manufactured in Great Britain.

We recommend that first time users wear the belt with a dark t-shirt to begin with. Sweat can cause the red interior suede to become wet, which may result in some color transfer initially (much the same as if you were to wash a new red t-shirt with a white t-shirt).

very satisfied with this belt ,excellent quality , gives so much stability and not very stiff .

  2. Migs Kalaw

Just got mine today..did squats right and walking out 315 felt so secure and tight and posture felt solid before I even started squatting

First time putting this belt on you will already feel how solid it is on your mid section..

This belt is constructed so good that I’m scared it might end up being a crutch for me or something I need and depend on for every single compound movement..

    Love this belt..good investment

Have other high quality 13mm that are comfortable and were broke in by the end of the workout, this felt broke in on the first heavy set. Amazing belt that is on another level. LOVE the latching system being able to go from ‘slack’ to ‘just right’ to ‘I’ve gone to far’ in seconds. Worth every penny.

i am very satisfied with this SBD belt, im glad i invested in this belt instead, i was using a lever belt but another brand thats 13mm, but it was digging into my ribs, and hips, this belt is very comfortable right out of the box, its a bit stiff since its new, but i used it today and when im half way thru my workout, the belt started to feel like its softening up a bit. highly recommend SBD belt if you are serious about your lifts.

if i knew about SBD belt few months ago, i would have purchased SBD belt as my first weight lifting belt, but instead wasted money on cheaper belts thinking they should work the same, but nope, i was wrong, cheaper doesn’t always mean its a good thing lol.

I love my SBD belt definitely worth the extra money, I had a pioneer prong belt before this, but it’s like comparing a Toyota Camry to a Ferrari, everyone knows when you bring this belt in the gym you mean business, the lever action is so smooth compared to a prong belt and it let’s your ribs breathe before your next set, we’ve all been there when you tightened your prong belt to tight, and you get a panic attack trying to get it off, not anymore,I’m never going back!! Get this belt!!!

    Great belt

Great belt. Definitely recommends this to all. The only down side is price but if you want a sturdy belt, here you go! I got my belt two days after placing the order. Great product!

  8. Alex Ramos (verified owner)

Absolutely amazing, not only is the sexiest belt out there, it’s also the best at supporting you, I’ve tried several powerlifting before but this definitely takes the win! 100% worth your money.

Don’t waste your time buying rogue, Inzer or anybody else out there by it once and by this, I have spent a lot of money and other belts only to buy this one and throw the rest in the trash I am a novice, not a professional and it is worth money all day long

This is the premium lifting belt in the market. It is expensive, but trust me, you will NOT regret purchasing this belt. It is built to last years and the patented lever system truly is remarkable. It is superior to other lever belts and definitely better than prong belts. Plus, this belt even looks better than all other belts. It took me a while to break in, but once it did, i don’t see how i ever lifted heavy without it. If you are hesitating to get this belt, dont. go ahead and buy it knowing you are getting the best because when you are training hard, you need and deserve the best. Just make sure you get the sizing correct and you will be good to go.

I opted for the SBD belt after using an Inzer buckled belt for over 20 years and I couldn’t be happier. I wasted so much energy pulling my old belt to the desired tightness for max lifts and the same energy was required to loosen the belt after the lift. The SBD lever is so secure and smooth, unlike other lever belts I’ve seen. I love the way it locks in place and how quick and easy it can be loosened. The comfort level for a 13mm belt is outstanding and the break-in period is much faster than any belt I’ve ever used. I also love that there is no need to manually move the lever as the belt is designed to adapt to waist size changes.

By far, the best powerlifting belt I’ve ever worn.

What an amazing belt! Easy to get in and out. Takes some adjustments to see where to place your belt to fit your needs. Keeps your core tight and protects the back very well. I’m coming from a 5 year old 10 mm rogue Ohio belt. It’s night and day. Get the sbd belt and it will surely be the last one you will get. It is made extremely well and will last a long time. Make sure you measure correctly using the guidelines they stated.

There are levels to this. SBD Belt is in a class of its own. At first, I was a bit skeptic about purchasing it since the price is high but trust me, its worth every dollar. Its sturdy yet smooth. I used it for the first time since it arrived a few days ago and the support is incomparable. The only regret I have is, why didn’t I purchase it any sooner.

Best belt I have ever used hands down- The quality justifies the price. If you buy this belt you will never have to buy another one

  15. Darren Le

The first time I bought an SBD Belt. I bought one size to big, I sold it to a friend for $100.00. The reason for such a steep discount is because I mutilated the belt, I even have a price of it left hahah. Of course I only sold it after I bought my second SBD Belt! Well worth the money. For reference on sizing I weigh 175lbs 5’9 Male and wear a medium. I would not fit a large.

  16. Derek Hostetler

Awesome belt! Felt great the first time I put it on. Even though it’s expensive, it is well worth the extra money paid to own the best belt out there! It is very easy to size to your size at the time of the lift! All in all, a purchase that is expensive, but if you want the best belt, you have to pay for it!

Is it worth it? Are you thinking about it? Then just get it. I have many rogue and inzer lever belts, but my favourite would be SBD. The lever is the deal breaker. The lever is reversed compare to all levers in the market. You can adjust the tightness of the belt without unscrewing the lever. I train in morning and at night. Honestly I am thinner in the mornings and to level down a size and lift is perfect for me. My squat and deadlift also have different prefer tightness. It only takes a second to adjust to fit my workout needs. The belt is softer than all my 13mm belts, it would not hurt your ribs like it does, quicker to shape to your body form.

Rock solid, amazing belt. Probably the last belt you will ever buy. Very stiff at first and will take some getting used to, especially if you are switching from a more plush 10mm belt. The first deadlift session with this thing was downright painful as the belt was pinching me, but after some break in it’s been amazing for me and provides unmatched support. If I could change one thing it would be the logo in the back which says “SBD Apparel” Just a big SBD logo without the word “apparel” would be much cleaner looking IMO.

I was a Pioneer fanboy, UNTIL I got my hands on a SBD. Not even close, the SBD lever is so much better than the PAL lever. SBD is worth every single $228. I paid $212 for the 13MM PAL Pioneer.

I’m giving my college nephew my 2 Pioneer Belts, since I will ONLY use SBD.
